The Alliance’s guest will be Dan Swain, Director of Development and Programs at the Newport Festivals Foundation, will be the guest at AAF Feb 26th. Dan will be talking about the Festival's teaching and youth programs.

Although best known for producing the Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals, Newport Festivals Foundation spends the rest of the year supporting music education on Aquidneck Island. Dan Swain, Director of Development and Programs, will join us to talk about their programs which include free music lessons, after-school programs, instrument donations, and summer camps.

Arts Around the Fire is an opportunity for artists, writers, performers and audiences to engage with colleagues about events affecting the cultural community, and to learn about new ideas and artistic endeavors. Interested parties are invited to sign up for an artist membership or become a supporting member of the Alliance, a coalition of individuals and non-profits committed to the advancement of arts and culture in Newport County. 

This free event is open to the public and no reservations are needed.
